Would you like a table attached to a chair? Do you have a day off?

Do not consider the product in the photo. Think of it as a kit to build something like this. after all. This is an ambitious product. I couldn't find anything else on Revain other than this one (and another so similar it might actually be the same with a different brand and packaging) that even attempts to add a desk/keyboard tray that attaches directly to the office chair . It doesn't quite live up to that claim, and I definitely wouldn't attach it to my new Aeron chair, but to my old office chair that I was trying to simplify for my computer with a 55-inch monitor TV, it seems work. The instructions that came with it were very brief and what they said was almost impossible to understand. (Perhaps we could use Google Translate if they just sent full, clear instructions in Chinese. It would be nice to at least have larger and larger images and a better match between the items pictured and the items actually supplied.) The kit came with 5 screws and nuts of each type supplied, although you only really need 4. It also came with 3 types of nuts and bolts but I only see real use for 2 of them. I'll still have enough pieces (I found the shorter ones more than adequate and less obtrusive to attach the main arm to the chair's air column.) Also, it came with a pair of cheap disposable gloves (cloth!) for that reason. What I received was impossible to assemble into a work item. The tray is attached with a ball joint so you can correct for angular anomalies and the bolt holding the strut holding the ball in place was too long so the strut was too far from the tray which meant that the ball was loose and it was impossible to tighten it just enough to keep the tray in one place. But I was able to fix it by folding a piece of aluminum foil in half a few times, punching a hole in it and using it as a spacer (between the bracket and the tray) to keep the screw tight to the bracket. actually works! I have a fairly sturdy tray attached to my chair that I can use my keyboard and trackball on and fold it out of the way easily. I haven't attached the mouse tray yet (as I use a trackball) but it seems much simpler in design with comparable materials and finish. This can be a little tricky since my armrests are curved rather than flat, but that wasn't the fun part for me anyway. It also comes with velcro to keep your keyboard in one place, but it's not essential. If you order this you may have the same problems as me or others. You can probably detach them and end up with a chair with a tray attached. This is pretty cool, and it seems almost impossible to find anything else even if you're willing to buy a new chair to get hold of it.
