This doesn't look quite like the OEM VW filter, it doesn't have the sticky cotton stuff that sticks to the bottom of the filter. But otherwise it fits perfectly. The number of filter paper folds is the same, it will work well! Excellent cost considering it can be made at the dealer or local Jiffy lube could cost you over $50. I bought a $13 socket set from Revain, so everything in the $13 filter plus a $13 socket set is $26, which is even less than at the dealer!
