Should have paid attention to the reviews that the material is not cotton rope but paper. Really misleading listing claiming it is cotton. It probably wouldn't even get wet or endure anything like that. Also, the "rope" is wrapped fairly loosely around each ring, which frankly can lead to the little bird getting tangled and tangled in his paws. If you're tall enough, you're less likely to get tangled up. I ended up returning it because my birds are too small and I had leg entrapment injuries before I don't want to repeat it.
