Fram works for me I've been using it in my cars (2001 Dodge Intrepid and 1998 Honda Odyssey) for several years. I'm a do-it-yourselfer, I always change the oil myself. I change them every 3000 miles or twice a year (every 6 months). I had no complaints about Fram, although there are a few people who hate Fram. I'm not sure why, maybe they don't change the oil and filter at the correct time stated in the owner's manual or they forget to do it. What I particularly like about this product is that it is an addictive gel that helps prolong the life of older engines and thus prevents oil breakdown. That's pretty good for an engine that has clocked up 215,000 miles and still runs like new. I recommend it to anyone who has driven over 75,000 miles and uses a decent regular oil.
