Flanges are excellent. I took quite a risk when I welded them, heated them a lot and they didn't warp. The only thing I don't like is the short bolt length. In order for the clamp to slide over the joint, the nut must be removed completely. Then to tighten the nut you need to squeeze the collar to expose the threads. Can be difficult to hold the exhaust with 3 hands. I have other V-clamps with longer studs and I can slide the clamp with the nut attached over the mated flanges and tighten instantly. Not much, especially for the price.
