hooks don't match the yarn.
I wanted a bunch of colors in small amounts to make Christmas ornaments. I haven't started, yet, but I am disappointed that the hook sizes don't match the yarn. The bag is cheaply made, but it is holding together right now. I was able to download the books. They're ok. They call for medium weight yarn, mostly, which is what I believe this yarn is. I have had to do a lot of research to determine the weight. The hooks are J and K size, for bulky yarn.
- The acrylic yarn is soft and comfortable to work with for extended periods of time
- Not a good starter kit for making complex or advanced projects
