I replaced the air spring with this kit and all went well. The hardest part was getting him up as he was sitting too low on the floor. They removed the air springs and old shock absorbers and replaced them with these springs and new shock absorbers. My local store wanted to charge $550 for it. So buying this kit saved over $400. The only downside to the rebuild is that you have to remove the ECAS fuse to turn off the compressor so it doesn't try to inflate air springs that are no longer there. I assume the compressor also goes to the rear tire inflator since that no longer runs. I keep a fuse in the car and will use it if I ever need to inflate my tires. Otherwise I'm glad I did it and it should last as long as I have the car. Now the ride seems a little smoother, but not bad. Handling is much better.
