I bought a Galaxy S21 Ultra and immediately bought a thin cheap case to protect it. Even after a week, I've never been convinced of the case's strength when it came to protecting my $1,200 phone. Constantly worried about damaging this expensive investment, I decided to check the XDA forums and see what other S21 owners are using to protect their phones. I came across a post about a program by a small company in Texas where you could get a phone case from them to try and promote the case and get a name on it. I didn't want a large case for an already large phone, but I realized that if I really want to protect this phone, I need this. I submitted the form and was contacted by the company's founder/CEO. The fact that he personally approached me was amazing and inspired me to try their Vanguard case. When I received the cover, I teased it and fell in love with it immediately. It looked great, felt great and gave me peace of mind. The case has a built in kickstand which I think works quite well. The sides of the case are made of fairly tough silicone and the back is made of polycarbonate. For me this is one of the best features. It's grippy enough that I'm comfortable and sure it won't slip out of my hand, but not so grippy that I can't get it out of my pocket without pulling the entire stake inside out. One of my main concerns was wireless charging. After using the case for a few hours, I decided to give it a try and see if it supports wireless charging. Of course it works perfectly. I can use fast wireless charging AND I can use reverse wireless charging on my Galaxy Buds Pro. NFC works great. The raised border around the screen and around the camera hump helps me not to worry about scratching them. The buttons on the side feel fantastic. They're not hard to squeeze like some other cases I've used and just strike a good balance of protection and ease of use. Now I should point out that I haven't tested how well it protects against falls/hard impacts. While it would be nice to review it, I didn't want to take the risk of omitting it on purpose. Even though I haven't tested the drop protection, I'm 100% sure it will prevent damage to my phone. Overall I am very happy with this case. Buying a $50 phone case without a built in kickstand that isn't as convenient to use or as easy to pull out of your pocket is something I just can't justify after using this case. For all my phones that I will buy over the years, this company will be my go-to choice. I love this case so much I plan on getting the purple variant. If you're looking for a case with a built-in kickstand, wireless charging, NFC support, and not too expensive, look no further because this is the one for you.
