This was changed along with the installation of aluminum knobs and joysticks. It doesn't look like it has been deformed due to uneven cooling like some injection molds (I'm dealing with molded foam at work, it seems to go bad). For a proper install, remember to reconnect the lightbar ribbon cable first, then reconnect in the reverse order that you removed the first one and make sure everything snaps into place. Then tighten all the screws, recheck the correct closure and finish tightening the screws. The kit does not include the light strip lens, so you will need it when transferring the light strip. Again, when fitting a loose lens screw, make sure the lens is secure on its pin (you'll know this if you have to gently pry it off the one in the old housing), then fully tighten. The grip is comfortable, strong, non-sticky. My only issue was that the trigger buttons would occasionally get stuck when pressed for the first week. It could have been a tolerance issue with the housing and my aftermarket aluminum triggers, or a true tolerance issue with just the housing itself. Your results may vary.
