Review on πŸ”§ BOSCH RA1152 Router Bit-Changing Offset Wrenches by William Chavez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They are best suited for power and hand tools

These offsets are designed to work with a two wrench shaft and collet configuration and pair nicely, if a bit awkwardly, with one Standard router base. If you're using a router on a table (they're designed with a standard base for this purpose) with a store-made base plate that has a hole even slightly narrower than the hole in the box, then they're impractical. It's easier to pull the entire assembly out and set it aside to replace the bit, eliminating the need for wrenches. We use several Bosch milling machines in our production shop and bought these keys just to see how they work. They weren't practical for our own use, which doesn't mean they don't work properly with standard Bosch accessories and bases.

Pros
  • Router parts and accessories
Cons
  • There are bugs
