These are the most comfortable pants ever. Bought them for my husband. I might steal them. They are thick but don't make you look super bulky. Soooo so so soft and warm. Outer material is good quality, smooth. Hits right at the ankle for 5'8". Husband says the size small is slightly loose around the waist (he usually wears 32 waist pants), but the drawstring should fix that--better loose than tight for sweatpants (for women buying this. I am also 5'8" but have a postpartum belly still and wear about a size 12 and these fit great). Not tight around the thigh, but not baggy either. Crotch doesn't sag, good rise, comes right below belly button. Love the zippered pockets. And they're deep. Would definitely recommend to anyone living in cooler climates.
