UPDATE: Initially this clock was not silent and I was not entirely pleased (see review below). However, shortly after I left my review, the company emailed me to say they improved the clock and would like the opportunity to have me try it out. I admit, I was busy and bought another clock so I forgot about it. They contacted me yet again and offered to send me a complimentary clock! I think this may be the best customer service and highest level of effort to take constructive criticism, improve upon complaints and provide customers with a quality product. The clock is lovely- especially for the price and I wish to thank the company for all of it's attention to the matter.INITIAL REVIEW: This clock is not silent. It is quieter than most, but still makes noise. Also the pin holding the hands in the clock was gold. I'm not sure why since the rest of the clock is silver. Otherwise, the clock looked as pictured. It is lightweight, but that didn't bother me because it looks nice. I really wanted to like it, but it's going back.
