I've used these clamps hundreds of times at work, but my industrial humidor was the first home project that needed them. These clamps are not only robust, but also inexpensive. And because of the low price, I didn't expect such an excellent quality. There are many settings and the whole clamp is closed. Plus the red paint on the handles adds a pop of color. In case you're wondering, there's no room for a padlock in the design. However, it should be noted that the pivot pin that the adjustment nuts are attached to has some movement when not locked, so the pin will tend to move down when mounted on a vertical surface. This will move the fastener wire away from the center of the fastener. This is not a problem, because by pressing your finger while locking, you can re-center the entire device. But I just thought you might want to know if your project needs to be perfect or look great, which mine didn't.
