Bought this to use on several cars I own. It is wireless, rechargeable and has a variety of reliable services for the needs of several modern petrol and diesel vehicles. The device comes in a nice sturdy case with cut out foam that keeps everything organized and protects against breakage. The case includes a handset, a wireless transmitter, a cable to connect the transmitter to the OBD port, and cables for charging. The device is durable thanks to the thick blue rubber case that won't break it if dropped. Its surface is also easy to clean. Setup was easy, select your country, log into your WiFi network and you're ready to update and download service modules to your device. I fully charged the device after setup, which only took about an hour. The device also has a built-in command set that can be easily pushed out with a button on the front of the PDA. The device has a color touchscreen that is very responsive. The handheld also runs on the Android operating system with a powerful processor that makes it easy to work with. I connected it to my 2013 F-150. The connection was smooth and fast. I chose the automatic Vin function. He quickly found the car and displayed a description of the make, model, year, VIN, and engine size. I was able to quickly scan the truck and found an error code that I knew was from a recent repair. When I selected the trouble code, it gave me information about the vehicle's ignition cycle and mileage at the time the problem occurred. I then changed the settings to miles in the setup menu. I looked at the systems and noticed that each system can be selected individually and not automatically. I logged into the body control module and was able to run a few real time tests such as: B. Remotely turn on and off the turn signals and even dashboard and warning lights. What impressed me the most was being able to walk down the driveway and wirelessly run multiple tests from 10 feet away from the car with no connection issues or slow feeds. I then used the device on my 2012 Nissan Altima. The device worked just as fast as the other vehicle. I have owned this car for a number of years now and have only had to do a basic periodic maintenance. I ran a full scan and found an old error code in the still image. Pretty cool. I did some other function tests walking around the car in the driveway and even found that my license plate light was burned out because I was able to test each set of bulbs individually. I checked other systems like TPMS which gave a lot of information. I will continue to use the device regularly in my cars as some are older than others but have OBD ports. This tool is way better than I expected and I will continue to use it regularly. I have other great scanning tools, but this one adds the features I love from multiple devices into one, which is always useful. It is wireless, rechargeable, easy to upgrade, has many functions and works with many car models. You should definitely get one for your garage.
