Analogues used: Canon 18-135 STM, 24-105 f4 L. This is with the same FR. I compared it with an alternative staffer CANON 24-105 f4 L in sunny weather, but with clouds, then in drizzling rain, and, finally, in an apartment with and without flash at aperture 5.6, as the most optimal for both lenses. I made the following conclusions: color 24-105 is a little warmer, livelier and more interesting to me personally. This one seemed a little more contrasting, apparently due to less pronounced warmth. The sharpness is the same in the center of the frame. Both lenses were aligned in the camera. I took it as a second staffer in addition to 24-105 f4 L for a wide angle and vaunted sharpness, picture and aperture. It turned out as a result only because of the wide angle and aperture ratio of one stop. This is all in comparison with the 24-105 f4 L, whose focal lengths suit me more. Of course, when compared with the EF-S 18-135 STM that I had or the whale 18-55, the difference is obvious. And so it’s an excellent staff member for crop if these particular FRs suit you. But the price is clearly too high, apparently due to the lack of an adequate alternative, after all, the best EF-S lens. Selling almost new, even in excellent condition, without losing 1/3 of the price will not work. Only overpriced and lowered the rating. HURRAH. Sold with a loss of only 15% of the purchase price. I will never buy again. It does not give super quality, but it costs like gold-plated.
