I purchased this product to ship 10# Northern New England Cheese to South Georgia. I put them in the freezer overnight and then in the freezer for 4 days. When I took them out to pack the cheese for shipping, the temperature of these gel packs was 0 degrees. I used them with Polar Tech 227C Thermal Insulation with a foam mailer (medium, 12" long, 10" wide, 7" deep, box of 2) and sent a FedEx bottom package that took three days to deliver. I was pleased to find that the 8 gel packs were STILL FROZEN AFTER 3 DAYS. The cheese was very cold but not frozen. I highly recommend this product for shipping south or if you need to keep something cold for an extended period of time.
