A novice should not buy this. In the cloud folder they have a ssa2 manual but are selling a ssa2N device. there is a calibration pdf with a photo of a older device, i know because you can read the labels. the website they refer you to has files from 2014. one link is dead. it talks about male and female kits. just stupid crazy confusing. if i could figure it out, like had a manual, i would figure it out then. if you are testing uhf connectors you need adapters but i need a manual to tell me how to calibrate using the N load adapters they supply. so i went to github to look for manuals and firmware and encountered warning that this device was not approved or supported and being sold without permission. the battery lasts a long time. i had it on while i read a bunch of confusing things that were not for this device and a few hours later it still had close to full charge. they also should give you tips on how to prevent static discharge. i will try once more and it goes back. i thought i had instructions and reading the files you do not. maybe i can find one that is actually for this device. i tried the stark100 and it had a good manual but not calibration kit. this one has a partial kit. full if you only use N.Update: I got a message that they did not update their info. No kidding you are using outdated and incorrect information. a v2 is not a v2.2 N no less, no matter how many times you say it, it still does not make it true. This VNA market is like the wild west. My vna came with fw v1.3 and the saaN bin file will take it to 1.307 8/30/2022. we are then on our own. the group they refer you to does not support this model. in fact that group says this model is illegal. So a cloud folder is added with misleading info. misleading is a mild word. The H4 v4.3 model has a support system and no one is saying it is illegal. They all come from the wild wild far east so who knows. Dont wait 30 days trying to sort it out the 2.2N. If you look at the firmware that comes on it and match it to the website for the older V2 you will see they are not doing you any favors. I suspect they know noone is going dig deep until its too late. This is all the warning I can offer.
