Great thermometer if you are looking for just a thermometer. It is super easy to use and to read. The only reason I have it a 4 star is because it does not allow contactless temperature readings. COVID outbreak you would probably want an infrared thermometer where you can take a temperature without actually touching your patient.

I have researched what would be the best thermometer to get, and this was my choice.Since I just received this my early imoression is it was a good choice.

We have had some inconsistent readings on foreheads, so we only use it on ears only now. It is quick and easy to read. May be too complicated for some users to understand!

I love this thermometer. We use it everyday in the car. Myself and four children (ages 5-11) have to take our temperature before we enter school everyday. Even the 5 yr old can operate this on his own. Highly recommended.

Our littlest doesn't like the under-the-tongue thermometer. We have a few different thermometers in our house. We thought we'd try this for her. I took my temperature it was giving out readings between 101 & 101 even though I wasn't sick, whereas our other thermometers gave me readings in the 98 range. Pass on this one.

I like this thermometer because it allows you to take the temperature from the forehead AND inside the ear. Very accurate readings, and easy to use. once you follow the instructions! I've always used ear thermometers for their accuracy but it's nice to have a thermometer that allows for the quick temperature check before school drop off, and have the accuracy you need when you're tracking a fever. Red and green lights alert you to a high or regular temperature reading.

The forehead reader is definitely sketchy and changes depending on temperature in the room.However, the in-ear mode is accurate, consistent, and easy to use.A big step up from the cheaper (and absolutely terrible) alternative that ebay promotes.

So far this is way easier to use than the one we had received from our baby registry. Our pediatrician recommended the iProven ones specifically and I see why. Glad we upgraded!

The price was good and it seemed to have all the right features.I was impressed when I read the owner's manual and they went into detail about how to get the most accurate readings.We've used it a few times now and it has performed perfectly each time. What a joke! Do not waste your money. The forehead will give a different read every time and while the ear might be more close to being accurate, is still not correct. Waste of money. Buy something made in USA instead. Ugh

We really enjoyed using this thermometer for our three kids including baby. However 5 months into having it, it stopped working. Even with new batteries, it only would show temperatures 96-97 for temporal and 90-92 for ear. Not sure why it stopped working but we were very disappointed after such a short time.
