Update (03/16/21): After owning it for just over two months the FM radio died. I can still use Bluetooth, but now when I tune into radio stations, all I get is silence. Previous Review: Basically, this speaker is exactly what I was looking for: a cheap Bluetooth speaker so I can listen to the radio in the shower. Mainly NPR. I originally planned to use Bluetooth for this purpose, but the fact that it picks up my local NPR station via FM is good, and I'm now planning to use it instead. The sound quality is okay. If you've heard of Bose, Sonos or HomePod before. Well, that's not even close to any of them. But it's not garbage either. Basically, I'm writing this review to document how to use the FM radio. There are no instructions in the "manual" for FM radio. All buttons are multi-function (basically: short press and long press do different things), in line with the classic Chinese aesthetic design of things, so they look beautiful, and the user experience is completely mysterious. And the instructions the company posted here in the Q&A section are useless. I've seen other reviewers write that the FM radio made them so angry that they returned the unit. Since the world really needs fewer bad people right now, here's how you can use the radio without becoming one of them: 1. Start by orienting your device so that the screen is on top and the power button is on the bottom. So I can use words like "left" and "up" to refer to buttons and you'll see what I mean. By the way, there is a plastic film on the display. So if yours looks blurry, just peel it off.2. The device starts in Bluetooth mode by default (this means the "BT" icon on the screen), so after turning on the device, start it by pressing the power button with a SHORT PRESS on the "M" button. This switches to FM mode. On my device, it goes back to the last preset station I left it in, which is nice. Unfortunately, it also sets the volume to a slightly loud "18" volume setting.3. The volume ranges from 0 to 30, with 30 being deafening. You probably want to give it up at this point. SHORT PRESS UPPER RIGHT button to increase volume and SHORT PRESS LOWER RIGHT button to decrease volume.4. If you are using the radio for the FIRST TIME (and only for the first time), you will need to scan for stations. In this way, the device matches the preset radio station numbers with radio stations. LONG PRESS the button in the top left corner to scan. I recommend doing this in the place where you intend to store the device. If you find that your reception is poor, you can connect the supplied external antenna to the connector on the right (pull off the small rubber plug). My device's ability to find radio stations is significantly affected when there is no antenna. Luckily, NPR sounds great even without an antenna :) You can always start scanning again by LONG PRESSING the UPPER LEFT button in radio mode.5. After the unit has finished scanning, LONG PRESS THE UPPER RIGHT button to go to the next larger radio station preset (ie current preset + 1) or LONG PRESS THE LOWER RIGHT button to go to the next smaller radio station preset (ie current preset - 1 ) to go ). There is no way to manually tune the radio. So if you can't get your favorite station, you're out of luck. That's all. The instructions in the Q&A seem to indicate that you can stop the radio scanning process midway, but I don't see much value in this feature. Other functions are relatively easy to use. At least. I got through them with no problems. If there was ever a quality waterproof speaker with a good user interface I would buy it, but so far this speaker is "good enough" for what I want. what morse code key press option does the watch set. LAUGH OUT LOUD!
