Bought for my 2005 Saab 9-3 Linear. The replacement took less than 5 minutes using a T25 torx bit to unscrew the cap and a flathead screwdriver to pry off the air hose. The K&N filter fits perfectly. It's around 3-4 times more expensive than a standard filter, but it's washable and reusable, so it's worth it in the long run. I kept the old filter in case I need to go somewhere while the K&N filter is washed. Another benefit that justifies the extra cost is that it can provide a small increase in performance and/or an increase in gas mileage. I haven't noticed anything different so far, but I really didn't expect it to be a big boost. It definitely sounds different when accelerating, more like an air whistle. Not loud or annoying, just noticeably different than before.
