The plastic on this product is so thin it keeps lifting off the floor. I added some lava rock to give it some weight and to act as a biofilter under the thread. It still doesn't bottom out like it should, but it cleaned the water in my only tank so well I decided to keep it. Regardless of tank size, if you try I would recommend buying a large one to balance the volume the stones take up in the filter so you don't have to change the shine as often. which keep the airline in one place broke on 2 of the 3 filters I ordered. I stuffed in mineral wool to keep it in place. If I find something better, I'll update this post. All in all it's a good little filter and does what it's supposed to, but I'm happy to pay more for something more solid.
