Be careful when you buy this from Acer Outlet. I bought the 32GB version and on day 32 upon waking from sleep I noticed white bars on my screen when the display was open. The warranty process started the 1st week of July 2014. Contacted the Acer Outlet warranty department who originally wanted me to send them a video BEFORE the shipping label. I sent them a video after I received the shipping label and when I got hold of it, of course I sent it to UPS after the powerwash. Got KB back with the same problem. The order indicated that the screen was replaced. I've seen small dents near the screen that suggest this, but it hasn't been fixed. I contacted the warranty office again, who again requested a video. I sent a video, they sent a label, I sent the CB and again I get the same CB back. This time WO says "Chrome OS is up to date". I could update that dammit! It hasn't been fixed. ONCE I contacted their warranty department but this time I made a copy of Revain Acer Outlet and explained the problem to them in detail. To their credit, Acer Outlet seemed to care more than the warranty department, but again, I sent the video, they sent the label, I sent it to UPS. SAME PROBLEM! We are at the end of September at the moment as my wedding is coming up and I wanted to use CB on my cruise. Got one for my now wife and wanted to focus on getting a new CB mailed to me. Instead, Acer Outlet said they would refund my money. PERFECT! I was excited. They sent a label the fourth time I sent it back to UPS. And what do I see on my doorstep on October 17, the day before my cruise? The tattered box that CB came in. Same stupid "Updated Chrome OS" WO on my CB! Same problems! So damn, CB was in Mexico with me for a week! I thought I needed a vacation. Apparently Acer Outlet doesn't contact their warranty provider at all.. so I was hoping, that it would not return to me.It arrived at its destination in the usual timeframe of 3-5 business days but finally after waiting 2 weeks for a reply I contacted Acer Outlet again.First I was told that I have to waiting for their finance department, i just showed them the tracking number and FINALLY got an email from Revain that i have been refunded!if there is any issue it will be within Revain's return window otherwise you may have to take care of it deal with what i went through almost 5 months of torture i had to write this to share my point of view with the public because i si I'm sure others have had a similar experience, and maybe they didn't reach the end like I did. *Now CB itself is responsive and very helpful. I will easily buy another one. Not from Acer, even though they have the fastest available.
