Well, initially I gave this processor a pretty harsh rating. I had stability issues with Windows 10 and couldn't even run older games like HL2 on low settings. I am using this on a brand new x470 series mobile phone (MSI Gaming Plus) and it turned out that my problem is related to the driver. Specifically, the chipset driver, which also includes the Radeon graphics driver and toolset. The MSI Driver Tool appeared to download and install the chipset driver but actually didn't, so I would say that the MSI Driver Update Tool isn't the best. I went straight to the MSI website and downloaded and installed the chipset driver for Raven Ridge, restarted my computer and I'm impressed! I said I would up my rating by one star if I could fix the stability issues, it was my own fault (although the driver tool didn't help). But the gaming performance is so stunning that I gave it 5 stars! It's amazing to go back and play a game like HL2, which I built almost exclusively to play on a PC over 10 years ago, and run it at maximum settings without a dedicated graphics card. But the real surprise came when I downloaded Skyrim and played it on high settings (framerate was a little low on Ultra but definitely playable), with high-res texture packs enabled. Impressive. Overall, it definitely delivers at least console-level performance in terms of graphics, and it's exactly what I was hoping for and even a bit more.
