Although I only gave 3 stars I have to say they have great customer service! The device arrived with scratches on the sleeve part and they sent a replacement without hesitation and I didn't even bother to send them pictures. The reason I give it 3 stars is because the light is on the back of the hood so when installed it basically lights up the wall. It's not good for lighting the actual panel. I don't quite understand why the light is there. We're in the middle of a refurb so we had the unit a few weeks before we installed it and unfortunately it's past the return period so we'll probably see if we can sell it to someone. We ended up buying a more expensive backlit hood that actually lights up the oven. However, I will say that the vent is quiet and seems to work adequately for the average cook.
