The collar is very beautiful and durable. I love it! But. There's that word! It really can't be made much smaller without wanting to click. It can be made without a section, and this is normal, if more then it will break. If you have a very thin pencil tree like mine, you can see the inside because it's too wide. Extremely difficult to put together. I mean insanely hard! I used a flat head screwdriver and some force I was unaware of and it took several hours. Seems unnecessary. That's not a nuclear warhead. But that's pretty much what I wanted. Only needs to be made for a pencil tree (ie smaller) and easier to assemble and gets 5 stars from me! Looks great and feels good!
