Review on πŸ–€ Swingline Adjustable Capacity Puncher: Efficient Punching with Customizable Capacity by Jonathan Unruh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfect for mini 5.5 x 8.5 3 hole binders

I often use mini binders to organize notes, write instruction manuals and so on. It's easy enough to use my computer to print four minipages onto a standard 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and then use the trimmer to create two double-sided pages. However, it was difficult to punch pages for mini three-ring binders. It looks like the only purpose-designed hole punch is the Mini Staple Punch, but it only processes a few sheets at a time, and it's pretty easy to miss the paper guide and punch the center. This punch easily punches dozens of sheets at a time after moving the two end punches into the "5-1/2" holes, and easier to align with the sturdy paper guide. I took off a star because the paper guide itself - while working - has markings that don't make sense. The numbers are in inches and the lines don't seem to align or center with anything, including the ruler that says "MM" which is actually in centimeters. However, the paper guide has indentations that "click" in the right places. Even if the numbers don't match, it's okay once you find the right "click" notch to center the paper. The 74440 and 74450 is that the 74450 has a drawer with perforated holes (round?) underneath it while the 74440 doesn't. Both can withstand up to 7 hits and come with 3 by default. Ignore Revain's typos in the descriptions.
