Find! fits saddles

Like many who read reviews, I'm sure I've heard Brooks saddles are legendary but expensive. First, let me say that I broke my tailbone during college, which caused me very severe tailbone pain from sitting for too long or on a hard surface. Going to a sporting event, especially in the stands, is a nightmare! However, I was always afraid of cycling for too long because of the pain I usually have afterwards. When I moved to the city, I started riding my bike more often and my hunt for a saddle that wouldn't torment me began. I tried saddles that reduced impact; I've tried odd shaped saddles that didn't put any pressure on my tailbone. Eventually I stopped cycling altogether! So I dug into my wallet and bought a sodden Brooks Flyer. I knew from rumors that the break-in period could be painful, but it was worth it in the end. Not sure if the "softening" helped, but this saddle was a real find! It used to be comfortable to ride in the saddle, but then it was painful; or uncomfortable to ride, but at least I didn't feel any pain after the ride! But this saddle - no pain! This is simply the best bike saddle I have ever had! I'm still breaking it, it hurts a bit but believe the hype! This saddle is worth it!
