I just need something simple and cheap to watch movies on my old Sony TV and this DVD player is perfect for that. It was very easy and quick to connect to the TV, it's thin and slim. As one reviewer mentioned, some of the buttons on the remote are a bit small and difficult to read what they're doing without wearing glasses, but it's pretty minor. The main DVD pause and restart button is big and obvious. Also, mute and volume still need to be controlled via the wired remote, so I need to have two remotes handy - not sure if that's always the case. All in all - for under $40 I am very happy with this DVD player. .
