I would recommend this player if you are looking for a cheap player to play regular DVDs. The player looks good, the remote control is decent and easy to use. So far it has played every DVD I've put in without any problems. The only complaint I have is that it is very noisy when loading a menu or starting a movie and seems to take longer than other DVD players. However, once the movie starts, it goes to the end despite not making any noise, so it doesn't matter.

Cons: --Small remote control and small buttons on the remote control. I like to press certain keys with touch, and in this case it's quite difficult. The DVD tray doesn't slide out all the way, so you always have to be careful when inserting or removing a DVD. not to scratch.
