2012 F150 OEM Nuts are a cost effective two-piece construction consisting of a forged nut with a stamped chrome shell pressed onto it; since the nut itself corrodes here in the salty north, the shell bulges and gets stuck in the nut when the nut is pulled off. These nuts are a much more advanced one-piece design. Gorilla makes them and Gorilla sells them in packs of 4; DPAccessories packs and sells them as 24 packs (and other bulk packs) for a cheaper price than 6x Gorilla 4 packs. Most other nuts compatible with factory wheels are half the price, but many reviews of these products complain of rust starting within months (or even weeks). The first impression is good - the nuts are packed in a flat box. , but individually wrapped so that metal does not come into contact with metal during transport. There is practically no oil etc. from production. I didn't see any flaws in any of them. I'll install them soon and then we'll see how they behave. UPDATE - installed today, no problems - chrome edges are smooth, no problem with threads.
