I searched and searched among all the options for a VENTILATED laptop stand available from Revain and after looking at this one I decided I do it without hesitation. All of the other designs felt "clunky" and complex, with lots of ports, laptop arms that got in the way of my wrists while typing, and didn't offer the lightness and flexibility I expected from a sturdy yet slim design that I could use Either place it on the desk or simply lift it up in a second to hold it on your lap without squeezing the height mechanism and just leave it on your lap without difficulty or discomfort. This stand is very durable, with incredibly grippy silicone pads on the front and back, so I can even tip the stand slightly over the front edge of my desk to get even closer to the keyboard and stretch less while typing. e (SEE PHOTOS OF THIS TRICK), while the rear handles hold the stand and laptop securely in place. It doesn't interfere with typing. The rear support bracket is infinitely adjustable during rotation, allowing you to choose any height along the entire arc of rotation. It's a solid connection that allows you to rotate in any position you like, and wherever you stop it locks perfectly and doesn't move. And it folds completely to 1/8 inch, so you can easily take it anywhere. One design change I should suggest for larger laptops (mine is 15 inches in diameter) would be to make it 13 inches wide instead of just 9+ so I can grab the laptop and stand on its sides when picking it up and want to move. INTERESTING design! Very happy with this purchase.
