I already had a matching binding for my late lab. But now I have a new dog that weighs 10 pounds and the large dog harness clips are too heavy for the new dog. As I had hoped, the clips on this new harness are the right size and weight for the new dog, and the cord itself has just enough flex so she doesn't feel too strained. I will continue her perimeter training and maybe one day she will be left in the yard without a tie but this tie will be great while I work in the garden and cannot watch her every second. I would like to add a word of caution that even in my suburban yard I have occasionally seen coyotes and large and vicious stray dogs, so a 10kg dog needs fairly careful protection/supervision. I've heard several cases of small dogs being grabbed and killed by predators such as coyotes or even birds of prey.
