So far so good and perfect for small dogs weighing no more than 5kg. I bought red and if left in the sun the color will fade to almost transparent in a month!

Just what I needed for my small breed aged 8 months. I like that it's thin and the hooks are small. It doesn't bother my little guy when he's on the hook. 12 feet was the perfect length. Definitely not for an energetic or large dog. Very happy with my purchase.

Some of the comments I've read have talked about rusting and fading. I keep it outside almost exclusively and it's very durable. The larger cord I bought from the pet store tarnished after a few months and then rusted. I thought it was normal outdoor linen wear. However, this one has been out for a long time without fading or rusting. Very well done.

I thought the cord was longer but that was my fault not the seller. Works well when our Yorkie pup is in the same room as our older 12 lb cat and I need to keep the pup away from the cat. It was too short for outdoor use for a puppy to safely roam our yard so I ordered a longer cord (green) for larger dogs and it works great. Happy with both.

Exactly as advertised, plastic wrap appears to be waterproof. If you're having a little trouble with the springs and opening and closing the clip to attach it to your collar, just spray on some WD-40 and it'll go away in an instant. It makes sense that the clips will get a little stuck outdoors, in the rain, in the mud, etc. WD-40 is a trick.

This little stretch cord was very useful. I have a 12 lb dog and most of the cords have HUGE terminals - too big for them; but it has pretty small brackets. 12 feet is good for when we're having a picnic or when we're sitting on our apartment lawn. She has some freedom, but she's close enough to stay safe. I already had a matching binding for my late lab. But now I have a new dog that weighs 10 pounds and the large dog harness clips are too heavy for the new dog. As I had hoped, the clips on this new harness are the right size and weight for the new dog, and the cord itself has just enough flex so she doesn't feel too strained.
