I've just received this item so don't know how it will hold up. At first glance it seems that it is well made for its price. The leash straightened itself out of the packaging. I'm giving a review now because I'm particularly happy with the weight and durability. I bought this for my 6 lb Miniature Pinscher and the clasp fits perfectly on his collar ring and obviously there will be no problem keeping him secure - strength wise. I actually bought two and put them together because of the short length. This didn't cause any problems as the line stayed straight and he was able to move around easily.
