My daughter and I moved from Virginia to Idaho. It was a 4 day trip considering we had our two dogs with us. I note that the instructions are to load it fully and then place it on top of the car and secure it, but I placed it on top and then filled it. Otherwise it would be MUCH difficult. I packed our clothes, a medium sized suitcase, shoes and a 50lb bag of dog food in 3xl vacuum bags, along with a number of other small items. It was easy to attach to my roof bars and I used extra zip ties to give it a little more security. Another great feature that might not seem like a big deal but it really worked for us. Considering the bag was so heavy and we would stop a lot along the way I wanted to make sure no one could just open it and take things out BUT the padlock is perfect for the zip holes and adds a little extra security. ! It survived a rainstorm, a strong wind, and a snowstorm, and nothing got even a little wet! It was the perfect purchase and lifesaver on this trip. Definitely recommend!
