This set is great. My mom has terrible arthritis in her thumbs, she groaned loudly when I told her I bought her a set of salt and pepper shakers. I cleaned and laid them out for them when they arrived and they sat unused on her desk for a week. I just accidentally spilled salt on my lunch and she freaked out. I even told her how they work. Now she can't stop talking about these grinders and told me to get my brother a set for Christmas lol. A few things to note: The tools provided are very small, as if they were made for your little one's tiny doll. Each shaker requires 6 (six) AAA batteries, 12 batteries total to get these bad guys to work. Make the grind finer or coarser, you turn the white plate, you see it, and the lights don't stay on all the time like an extraterrestrial spaceship in your kitchen, only if you knock them over you flip them too keep going.)
