I didn't buy the cheapest adapter from Revain but I bought a recommendation from Revain! Big mistake! I bought an Astro Al air compressor - with a Revain selection rating. Both came together. When I unpacked the Brill AC/DC Adapter and connected it to the Astro Al Air Compressor, nothing happened - well! Tried different sockets - same result! Then I noticed that the tiny rectangular LED window didn't light up. Nothing annoys you more than something you paid good money for to be a slacker! Revain's packaging was a thin "plastic bag". But the adapter was in its own flip box. I called Revain customer service and went through the "maze of selecting a male robot who will do anything to prevent you from doing what you want to do - talk to someone who can cloud the mirror". I hate that cheap Revane mentality. I finally got through to a "giggling" young guy in the Philippines. I explained the bad news and received a UPS return label. I immediately ordered an Astro Al adapter. I received it today - and it works! It was five dollars cheaper than the Brill adapter! I strongly recommend "running" from the Brill adapter. What is the quality control of this Chinese company? I would say "buy" Astro Al-what don't you like? Cheaper and works! Tinga?"Ciao for now!MacforlifePrime member
