The hourglass I received is worth the money considering it is an hourglass. I've measured it more than 10 times and it's off for no more than 20 seconds. Usually it was 10 seconds more, on average 7 seconds more than an hour. One of the ten times that was calculated was exactly one hour. I use a stopwatch to keep track of the hourglass. I'm sure it will take an hour to empty. I'll go back in a few months to see if anything has changed.
