Review on 🔧 Metra 99-9100 Single DIN Installation Kit: Perfect Fit for 1996-1999 Audi A4/A6/A8, Standard by Jason Laney

I know others don't like the look of the finish but as this seems like the only decent option at a reasonable price I have no doubts about the finish yes it could be better , but I got distracted . Now the setup is pita, it fits fine when you install the trim, it doesn't always line up right, it fits perfectly at first, no gaps or anything, but I had to adjust some of the wires behind the stereo so I took the cut offs . After reinstalling the trim it had a noticeable gap between the plastic and wood trim, I just decided to say ok for now and leave it as is. Would I buy again or recommend to a friend? It certainly does a great job, looks good, and gets the job done for a reasonable price. Update about 6 months later, still works great, I won't change anything in my review, but the build quality of the kit is wobbly enough to have to be pushed off every now and then. Uncomfortable but works well
