🔧 Metra 99-9100 Single DIN Installation Kit: Perfect Fit for 1996-1999 Audi A4/A6/A8, Standard Review

I don't know what people are talking about. This is absolutely perfect for the 1998 A4. If in doubt, just look at my photos!

Used on my TT and it worked great with a little sanding and putty. I also immediately bought a Scosche AU2300B and an American International AUDK610 to get the best results in the end. The only finish that worked for me was the Metra kit. Waste your time and money and buy this one.

This kit fits my 2002 Audi TT but it's not perfect. I used a piece with two screw holes. First, the screw heads were too thick to fit in the channels on this kit. I had to take my dremel and cut each screw head to fit. The set isn't perfect either. Nothing can be said about the position of the driver. You only notice that when he approaches him. Unfortunately, that's the best I could find.

The finish is a standard textured finish that does not match my 1999 Audi A4. The edges are also rough, which you can see during installation. What's worse it doesn't fit the factory hole, I had to squeeze it which resulted in it having a shackle. Also, the retaining clips are too deep (made for thicker OEM stock) preventing them from fitting snugly in the dash opening. I tried two of these, both were the same and disappointing.
