I like this lamp very much. it is very bright, maybe too bright for my kitchen, but the kitchen must be bright, i had to get a smaller size, or maybe i need to install a dimmer. Also, the brighter the light, the better the cockroaches will be repelled. LOL I don't have cockroaches. When it comes to mounting, the included brackets are a bit flimsy and flimsy. had to have a smaller caliber to make it thicker. To make it sturdier I drilled 1 hole on the outside edge of each of the four sides in the center about 10 inches from the side. I installed the dowels in the ceiling and screwed in the screws. However, before installing the anchors, make sure your fixture is oriented the way you want it. Do not fully tighten the screws or you will not be able to move the cam locks holding the cover. Great setup looks good works well
