Must be washed immediately after use, otherwise food will stick to it and very difficult to remove. I spray Pam on mine before use and it needs to be cleaned right after use. I use a soft rubber sponge with grooves on it. I don't use metal, cloth, or a stiff brush of any kind. I sometimes use a soft, flat rubber edge to scrape stubborn bits off the metal wire. I use daily soap. Do not let it soak for more than 5 minutes, otherwise it will rust. We used to use our New Wave oven 5 to 6 days a week. We usually keep 2 on hand.
