Wow, this network cable tester and tracker exceeded my expectations and here's why. This product includes a carrying case, a user manual and several network cables. It consists of a wired tracker receiver that requires a 9V battery (not included) and a wired tracker that requires a 9V battery. It works by connecting a cable to the tracker and using the receiver on the other end of the cable to confirm the line. .I needed to trace a wire from my outdoor work area that runs underground to my basement. So I plugged in the tracker and went down to my basement. I recently moved into this house with dozens of network cables preinstalled and used the receiver to test them all. I love how easy it was to use and finally found the line. I was able to identify it and tagged it for future reference. All in all, this is a fantastic tool that works exactly as advertised. I didn't expect that finding a cable among the many would be so easy. What a time saver! It's worth the price and I highly recommend it. Therefore, I rate this product five out of five stars.
