To be honest. When I opened the box and took out the pen, I was ready to hate it. If you unscrew the tip, a transparent disk will be attached to it. Inside the box are instructions that the disc is vital to the operation of the pen, and leave it in place. They even give you extra bets with extra discs. I had a sense of failure. I needed this pen to be precise. I use it in my painting app and I need to hit tiny spots and also draw straight lines. I just haven't seen how it's possible with a hard drive. But my fears were unfounded. This pen is AMAZING. Not only do you not have to charge it every night, it actually works BETTER than other pens I've bought. Now my lines are straight and true. The previous pen I used drew curved lines for some reason. Even if I used a ruler. I felt that the connection between the stylus and my iPad wasn't very good. But this pen draws straight lines and gets into tight spaces with ease. I can also use it to reply to emails and text messages. That's great. And now I have two of them because I always lose something. And it comes with a nice carry case. If you have any doubts about whether this pen is worth spending money on, I encourage you to do so. You will not be disappointed.
