I really wanted them to be fantastic as I liked the idea of a cotton (ie softer) collar. Structure is severely lacking. The D-ring for the dog tag is made of brass and has already faded from the packaging. I used pliers to remove it and used the stainless steel D ring from the ring I was replacing. It shouldn't have been necessary but was my instant decision. When I adjusted the collar to their size (both adults, both slightly overweight) I found I couldn't adjust it quite tight enough as the buckle didn't go through the brand patch. This is how it can be adjusted. Any normal sized kitten or skinny cat will find this too big. Also, the little plastic ring that's supposed to provide a secure fit (or limit double loop bulge) is too big to be effective and just slips over the collar. One thing to note is that my two kittens are comfortable and used to collars. However, they both immediately started playing around with this collar, which hasn't happened with any other collars I've tried. I'm disappointed from the start and expect to have to replace them in a few months (usually you replace the collars once a year).
