Review on πŸ–‹οΈ Tombow Fudenosuke Fude Brush Pen Set - Soft, Hard, and Twin Tips for Enhanced SEO by Kelly Caballes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this brush so much!

Edit added: I've been doing calligraphy for 2 months now. One pen is enough for 40 completed exercise sheets - for me about a month. I've tried several other brands but I definitely recommend the Tombo Fudenosuke hard tip to start with for more precise control. I've reordered but in the 5 pack (instead of a 2 pack with the soft tip) and had no problems with either order. I LOVE THIS PEN! First review: I did a lot of research on brush pens that are good for beginners. They kept coming, but reviews were mixed. This is my 15th training sheet. I've almost always used a hard point (blue shank pen). Seems to be a lot of colors! Given my limited knowledge (after 2 weeks) I would definitely recommend these brush pens. I've tried several softer-tipped pens - and I'm not even remotely ready for them. The hard tip offers enough resistance when shaping the letters to ensure the right pressure. The softer tip in this set is still quite hard and would be a good transition, but at this point I find it hard to imagine switching to a softer tip!

Pros
  • Freehand
Cons
  • Very expensive

I opened the pen and ink was bubbled up ALL OVER THE PLACE and keeps dripping out.
