I play a lot of basketball and needed a headband that I knew would not only keep sweat out of my eyes, but also stay in place while I ran. I used to have bandages that moved and trust me it sucks. Try taking a break to lie down slightly and put on a blindfold. NO FUN. I was impressed with how comfortable the headband is with the grip strap. It literally doesn't move on its head at all. Also, the thicker part of the headband at the front over the forehead increases sweat absorption, which prevents sweat from getting into my eyes. I would definitely recommend it to any athlete looking for a comfortable headband.
