Review on 🌱 Hippo Sak Eco-Friendly Small Food Scrap Bags, 80 Count by Sander Savala

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good if you empty every day or just need a bin liner instead of a tote bag.

This is difficult to rate because what most people think is carrying a bag on the way to work in the morning, the composter is 3-4 stars at most. But if you miss a day or two, this is a solid 1 star. But as a liner in a kitchen bin, it's fine. As a liner maybe 3-4 stars. I don't throw away leftovers every day. In winter it may take a few days. If it's very cold and snowing, maybe a week. If May-October is very hot and the mosquitoes are in full swing, I can't empty for 2-7 days (wait for low humidity when the insects will be more suppressed). But after 2 days, holes appear and this bag falls apart. This is understandable as it is *compostable*. So if you're ok with that AND you take the kitchen bin into the compost bin and just throw away everything, bags and all, that seems like an acceptable "liner" for compost. scrap bucket. That's basically why I bought it. My bucket is slick plastic, but it's gross to clean (see timeline questions above), so this bag is more of a liner. It is in order. It was the best experience. holes in it and such. Now the bucket is much cleaner. The kitchen smells better. Beware trolls vs. compostable natural bags: - There is no room for a bin in my small kitchen fridge or its even smaller freezer - I am disabled. I can't go to the compost pit like clockwork. Is always. That or the leftovers go out with the garbage.

Pros
