a hint for people having problems with leaks, i installed mine on an old cast iron sink which is considerably thicker than a stainless steel or composite laundry sink, since the back splash kit are straight threads, it helps if you use teflon tape and pipe joint compound both on the threads, also put some plumbers grease on the o rings on the spout before installing it to the faucets, you won't have any problems with leaks
