Review on 🛠️ Acekit Bike Headset Cup and Bottom Bracket Press Installation Tool: Effortlessly Install BB30 and BB90 with Precision by Derrek Fields

After a few years working in a bike shop this is a really good quality tool. My complaint is that it just pushed my BB30 bearings against the bottom bracket shell. I spent quite a bit of time contemplating what other mandrels I could order to fit the bearings into the inner clamps (proper bearing positioning is recessed rather than flush) and finally decided to do it with a plastic spacer/one washer to try to get them flush. against internal clamps. It worked but required extra care to keep it centered in the bearings. It would be great if Acekit provided mandrels that push the bearings into position. For future use I might consider the Park BB30 bearing remover which also comes with mandrels - these can be used in place of the ones included with this tool.
